Vitastjerna are one of Gotland's first inhabitants and according to the legend, wife of Havde. The first night she and Havde spent toghether on Gotland, she dreamed of three snakes that protruded from her bosom. The dream interpreted that Vitasjerna would give birth to three sons, which she also did. He named them Gute, Graip and Gunnfjaun.
